24 Hour Prayer

24 Hour Prayer - Social Media.jpg

Join us as we pray for people all around the world that don’t have access to the Gospel, that they would know Jesus personally. These people are known as UPGs (Unreached People Groups), and this prayer event is dedicated to interceding for them.

You can come for a few minutes or for a few hours! You aren’t required to sign-up but if you want to, you are more than welcome to using the button below. Our goal is to have students praying in this space for the entire twenty-four hours (thus, the sign-up is helpful).

→ Location: MGC 245 (Confirmed) || Point of Contact: Lily (Email)

This event was planned by the Fall 2018 Prayer Fellows: Lily & Anna

Note: MGC is accessible at all hours, you just need to follow the signs to a specific set of doors and then use your AU ID. You can also text Lily at 617.839.3927 and she can help you get in.

Fall Retreat Thursday [featuring Pastor Stefa Chappell]

We started this tradition several years ago — and we’re doing it again this year! Whether you’re going with us on Fall Retreat or not, you’re not going to want to miss this service.

Usually, we have a few games, we ask everyone to wear a Chi Alpha shirt and there are a few surprises planned as well.

This year, Pastor Stefa Chappell is flying in to be our guest speaker. She has decades of campus ministry experience, she’s lived in DC before, she loves college students and currently, she works at National Chi Alpha as our first-ever Field Director. She normally speaks at conferences and retreats around the country, so having her is a special treat!

First Thursday Night Worship (TNW) of the Semester

It’s the first week of classes and everyone is back on campus. We gather every week as a community for about 90 minutes and you’re invited! Whether you’re a Christian or simply exploring, this is a great place for you. It’s a time where our worship band leads us in song, one of our campus ministers shares a 30-minute message and you get to connect with dozens of other people that are navigating faith while on campus.

Tip: The music might be loud, but we like it that way!

We’ll meet at 6:30pm on Thursdays at Embassy Church Cafe (unless otherwise noted).

If you know students in the area who haven't signed up to get these emails, bring them along!  The more the merrier.

We’ll be studying 1 Timothy and perhaps, even more.
