Small Group Leaders

The chaplaincy (all of our staff members are chaplains, by the way) selects small group leaders through an intensive application and interview process.

There are five steps to this process, and the order does matter, y’all:

[one] Completing NLI (Next Level Intensives), an educational pre-requisite.

[two] Thoroughly read the I’m Interested Packet (PDF), which includes our Statement of Faith, the Role & Expectations of a Life Group Leader as well as a sample calendar. This will be discussed at length in the interview and the packet tacks an hour to get through.

[three] Complete the written (online) application, which takes 90 minutes.. The application opens Friday, March 29 and closes promptly at 5pm on Friday, April 5. Late applications will not be accepted or considered, so we suggest submitting it early.

[four] Select an interview time during Interview Days which are set for April 9-12 (tentatively) for AUXA and April 14-16 for GUXA.

[five] Await a response, decisions are finalized and phone calls are made in early May. Life Group Pairings are released in July via email.
